DELIVERY TERMS
Birma.lv offers delivery of goods in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland and other European countries listed in the delivery price table.
Delivery methods, available carriers and delivery options may vary depending on the delivery country, the total weight and size of the order, the type of goods and the delivery address.
The delivery method available for a specific order and the delivery fee are indicated during checkout before the order is confirmed.
All delivery prices indicated by Birma.lv are stated in EUR and include VAT.
Order processing
Orders are processed on business days.
Preparing an order for dispatch usually takes 1–3 business days, if all ordered goods are available in the Birma.lv warehouse.
If an order is placed on Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday, its processing will start on the next business day.
If a different ordering, preparation or delivery time is specified for a particular product—for example, the product is ordered from the manufacturer or supplier upon the customer’s request—the time limit specified for that product applies.

The order can be collected after the Buyer has received a notification that the order has been prepared for pickup.
Delivery to a parcel locker or pickup point
If delivery to a parcel locker or another pickup point is available for a specific order, the Buyer selects the available pickup location during checkout.
When the shipment has been delivered to the selected pickup location, the Buyer receives a carrier notification with information about collecting the shipment.
The shipment must be collected within the time period specified in the carrier’s notification.
Availability of parcel lockers and pickup points, shipment size and weight limits, storage period and other terms related to the specific carrier’s service are determined by the respective carrier.
Courier delivery
Courier delivery is made to the delivery address specified by the Buyer during checkout.
Availability and cost of courier delivery depend on the delivery country, the total weight and size of the order, and other conditions applicable to the specific shipment.
On the delivery day or before it, the Buyer may receive a carrier notification about the expected delivery in accordance with the terms of the respective carrier’s service.
Estimated delivery time
If all ordered goods are in stock, after the order is prepared the estimated transit time is usually:
- In Latvia by courier: 1–4 business days;
- In Latvia to a parcel locker/pickup point: 2–4 business days;
- In Lithuania and Estonia: 2–7 business days;
- In Finland: 2–7 business days;
- in other European countries: depending on the destination and the selected delivery service.
The order preparation time of 1–3 business days is added to the transit time, unless otherwise specified for a particular product or order.
The indicated transit times are estimates. The delivery deadline binding for a specific order is indicated during checkout or in the order confirmation.
If the Seller determines that it is not possible to deliver the order within the specified time, the Buyer will be informed and notified of the expected new delivery time.
If the delivery time is not specified otherwise, the order is delivered to the Consumer within the time limit provided for in regulatory enactments. The Consumer Rights Protection Law provides that, if no other time limit has been agreed, the goods must be delivered no later than within 30 days.
How weight is determined
To determine the delivery rate, the total order weight is used.
If the order dimensions, weight, product packaging or other characteristics do not allow using the standard delivery method specified in the relevant price table, an individually calculated delivery may be applied to the order.
Individually calculated delivery
The delivery price is calculated individually in the following cases:
- for an international order from 31.50 kg, if the price table does not specify a fixed delivery rate for the respective country and weight;
- for an order to Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia from 75.00 kg;
- for an order that includes at least one oversized or non-standard product;
- in other cases where the shipment size, weight or characteristics do not meet standard delivery conditions.
If an individual delivery calculation is required, the order is accepted without immediate online payment.
After calculating the delivery costs, the Buyer is informed of the delivery price. After the price is agreed, the Buyer is sent an invoice or a payment link.
Delivery is carried out only after the Buyer’s consent to the individually calculated delivery price and receipt of payment, if prepayment is предусмотрена for the specific order.
If the specific product can be collected at the Birma PETS store and the Buyer chooses free in-store pickup, no individually calculated delivery fee is applied.
Carriers and their terms
Birma.lv uses various delivery service providers for delivering orders.
The carrier and delivery method available for a specific order are indicated during checkout or in the delivery information sent to the Buyer.
The carrier may determine:
- locations of parcel lockers and pickup points;
- maximum shipment dimensions and weight;
- shipment storage period;
- courier delivery time;
- procedure for recipient identification;
- technical procedure for receiving the shipment;
- other terms related to transportation.
The Buyer is subject to the terms of the respective carrier that are in force at the time of performing the specific delivery, insofar as they do not restrict the Buyer’s or Consumer’s rights established by regulatory enactments or the concluded distance contract.
