1. Choose the appropriate hook according to the size of the tick.
2. Place the hook barb as close to the skin as possible on the attached tick.
3. Gently rotate the hook between your fingers (in any direction).
4. The tick will loosen itself after 2-3 turns and can be safely removed.
5. Always disinfect the wound immediately .

• Do not use the hook to crush or pull the tick straight up - there is a risk of tearing off the head.
• Wash and disinfect the hook after each use.
